2am fishing

had a random night in mission bay on a million dollar yaught.

really good food at a place called "the red marlin" in the hyatt.

fished from about midnight till 2am off the back of the parked boat.

fish total:

2 baracuda (first one ive ever caught)

1 bat ray

1 sand bass

i lost count of how many spotties i caught.

well worth the mission

long hot weekend again.

had to escape the gloomy weather and go back out to the

land of sunshine (borrego) only to have it rain on us.

didn't mind it though, it was 110 degrees, so the rain felt nice.

left sunday afternoon around 4pm after playing golf.

got home at 6pm.

left at 8pm to go to the casbah.

watched bad astronaut plat after swigging down whiskey and beer.

met Joey Cape after the show and had him sign a gig poster i had stolen off the wall.

home at 2am.

i'm tired to say the least.

hair friday

started to cut my own hair last night.

didn't turn out as good as last time,

so i shaved it off.

havent had my head shaved in about 6 years!

feels good and hopefully it will send good vibes to the summertime sun gods.

i'm not sure, but i do think girls dress better now-a-days.

maybe not better, but they just have more options.

another summer day....raining

i show up to work today and have a gift certificate to my shop for $40.

first i thought it was a REALLY late birthday bonus.

then i realized that it was my 4 year anniversary at my current job.

$10 for every year i have come into work for 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

some people work their whole life at the same job for a little gold watch.

i guess that is pretty respectable.

but why is it when people ask me if i'm still working at the same place that

i feel stupid? that working in the same job for too long, and living in the same place

is somewhat lazy?

well anyways i think it is time for a change in more than one way. keeping

my eyes and ears open as always.
